USAC SPRINT CAR SPECIAL EVENT RACE RESULTS: May 22-24, 2008 – Anderson, Indiana - Anderson Speedway – 60th Pay Less "Little 500"

Dave Steele's return to the Little 500 after a two year hiatus ended much too early.  While running fourth, Steele had nowhere to go when on Lap 99 Doug Heveron experience equipment failure directly in front of him.  Steele's crew went to work and got him back into the field, but three laps down.  Dave put the pedal down and was working his way through the field when his panhard bar broke on Lap 242, sending him to the pits for the night.
