The winged sprints
of the Tampa Bay Area Racing
Association rolled in twenty six
cars strong for their first of
eight scheduled races around the
“High-Banks” of DeSoto Super
Speedway. This would be the
fourth race of the young 2007
for the sprinters with three
different winners. Dave
Steele was the first winner
at Citrus County Speedway with
Troy DeCaire and Keith Butler
following up with a pair of
races during World Series of
Asphalt at New Smyrna Speedway.

Nine Racing Announces 2007

(December 18, 2006)—Nine Racing
proudly announces its 2007
driver lineup. Two-time USAC
National Midget Series Champion
Dave Darland returns to Nine
Racing driving the #9 Team
ASE/Oakley/Pink Toyota midget.
Dave will be Nine Racing’s
points driver, who will compete
in all 2007 USAC National Midget
Series dirt and pavement races.
Dave will
again team with Dave Steele, who
will drive the #91 Team
ASE/Oakley/Pink Toyota midget,
and returns as Nine Racing’s
“pavement specialist.” He will
compete in all USAC National
Midget Series pavement events
along with selected special
pavement races. Dave had a
strong 2006 season winning four
USAC events.
Davey Ray
joins the Nine Racing team on a
full-time dirt specialist basis.
He will compete in the #91 Team
ASE/Oakley/Pink Toyota midget
dirt car at all the USAC
sanctioned dirt events as well
as selected special dirt races
throughout the 2007 season. |
